## Product Description
The SH129 Lubricating Grease Roll‑Stability Tester is built in accordance with ASTM D1831 and SH/T 0122 standards. A prescribed amount of grease sample is loaded into the test drum and subjected to a 2‑hour test run at ambient temperature. The worked cone penetration of the lubricating grease is measured before and after the test procedure.
This instrument evaluates consistency changes of lubricating grease induced by mechanical shear inside the test drum, so as to characterize the mechanical shear‑stability performance of test greases.
- Stainless steel test drums: Φ90mm × 180mm, 5kg each
- Idler pulley fitted with a positioning ring to ensure stable and proper operation of the test drums
- Drive motor mounted at the base, maintaining a consistent rotational speed between 155 and 180 r/min
- Belt-driven transmission system for the test drums
- Microprocessor-controlled temperature regulator with digital display, ±5℃ temperature accuracy, and PT100 platinum resistance temperature sensor
- Digital timer for precise test duration recording, equipped with an audible alarm upon test completion
- Capable of conducting simultaneous tests on two test drums
- Thermometer port provided on the instrument cover for manual temperature calibration and correction
